|---|---|
| Nearby devices / Bluetooth | Finding, pairing, and communicating with a MultispeQ |
| Location | Adding coordinates to Project measurements; older Android versions may also require it for Bluetooth discovery |

| Notifications | Showing app and synchronization notifications |
| Network access | Signing in, refreshing Projects and protocols, and uploading measurements |
Bluetooth permission
If Scan Devices does not find a MultispeQ, confirm that Bluetooth and Nearby Devices permissions are enabled for PhotosynQ in Android Settings.
Sign in with the account email address and password, then enter the seven-character verification code sent by email. The code expires after 20 minutes. A new code can be requested after 60 seconds. Follow Sign In to PhotosynQ for detailed instructions.
MultispeQ QC and Bluetooth setup remain available when signed out, but Project collection and cloud synchronization require an account.
# Troubleshooting
- Confirm that Android and PhotosynQ are updated.
- Confirm that the required permissions are allowed.
- Restart Bluetooth and the PhotosynQ app.
- Confirm that the phone has available storage and an internet connection.
- If pairing fails, follow Connect an Instrument.
