# Measurements
The Measurements screen contains measurements stored on the phone. It includes pending and uploaded Project measurements as well as local Quick Measurements.

# Measurement status
- A cloud with a check indicates that a Project measurement was uploaded.
- A pending measurement remains on the phone until it is uploaded or deleted.
- Quick Measurement entries are local results and are not uploaded to a Project.
# Main actions
- New Measurement returns to the Project collection workflow.
- Upload All uploads all eligible pending Project measurements when network settings allow it.
- Select All selects measurements for bulk actions.
- More options provides list-management actions such as selecting pending measurements or cleaning up uploaded local copies.
# Review a measurement
Select a measurement to open its warnings, protocol results, calculated values, and traces. A pending Project measurement can also provide actions for adding a note, taking a picture, uploading, or deleting the local measurement.
The example below is the latest collected Photosynthesis RIDES 2.1 data point. It completed without warning or danger findings.

Project-question answers and raw measurement data cannot be changed after collection. Notes or photos can be added only while the measurement remains editable locally.
# Upload measurements
Use Upload All to upload all pending Project measurements, or open/select an individual pending measurement and use the upload action. The WiFi only and Auto upload options in Settings control when uploads are attempted.
Field collection
Review the Measurements screen before leaving the collection location. Confirm that expected measurements are present, then upload them when a reliable connection is available.
Compare the number of pending measurements with the field log or planned sample count. Investigate missing, duplicate, mislabeled, or warning-bearing measurements while the sample and collection context are still available. Do not delete local pending measurements until their uploaded records have been confirmed in the Project data view.
For guidance on reviewing warnings and flagging records, see Data Issues and Flag Measurements. A statistical outlier is not by itself evidence of a bad measurement; retain or flag data according to the study's documented quality-control rules.
# Troubleshooting uploads
- Confirm that the phone is online.
- If WiFi only is enabled, connect to WiFi or temporarily change the setting.
- Confirm that the measurement is a Project measurement rather than a Quick Measurement.
- Restart the app and try the individual upload action.
- Do not uninstall the app while pending measurements remain on the phone.
- If measurements still do not upload, use Send Debug and contact support@photosynq.org before clearing app data.
